Hello pet parents! I’m Kaylyn Cheek, the groomer behind Dream Dogs by Kaylyn, a house-call dog grooming service based in North Mississippi. I’ve been grooming professionally for three years and completed my training through PetSmart’s Professional Pet Stylist Academy in Decatur, Alabama. I previously worked in the grooming salon at PetSmart in Oxford, Mississippi, then accepted an opportunity as the groomer at Happy Paw Paw’s in Oxford, where I worked until May 2024. Since then, I’ve been happily flying solo and making house calls full time. When you book with me, your pup is groomed by me and only me from start to finish — no rotating staff, no cages, and no rushing. My goal is to keep your dog as comfortable and calm as possible while making the process easy and stress-free for you as the pet parent. What to Expect During Your In-Home Grooming Appointment I bring all professional grooming equipment needed to complete your dog’s appointment, including a grooming table, dryer, clippers, shampoos, towels, and cleanup supplies. All I’ll need from you is: • Access to a bath, shower, or sprayer-style faucet (handheld sprayer preferred) • An electrical outlet within reasonable distance • A small workspace such as a bathroom, laundry room, mud room, kitchen, porch, or carport Bathing is typically done in a bathroom, mud room, or outside, and I’ll set up my table wherever is most convenient for you. Once finished, I always clean and tidy the area — most homes look just as they did before I arrived. No van, no mess left behind — just a happy, freshly groomed pup.
